Mowbray - Celtic - Lambert

I work in Glasgow and while it might appear worrying that Celtic are having a hard time of it at the moment I don't think Mowbray will be sacked any time soon.

He has been given substantial amounts of cash to spend this window to turn the team around, they lost last night to a last minute goal and he is just starting to get the team playing how he wants them to play.

I have heard that he hasn't moved his family up here though, and that he is not impressed with the approach of the Scottish press so there may be a chance that he would walk away.

It probably isn't communicted very well as the standard of football up here is poor but Celtic and Rangers are amongst the biggest clubs in Britain in terms of support, Celtic get over 50k to their home games and Rangers get over 40k every time they are at home. Not may teams in England can say they get that consistently.

If Lambert was to go to Celtic and fail then that would probably be his career over. I think despite the pull of the club he is more likely to want to try and prove himself a bit first.

Should Mowbray walk away Celtic will wnat someone with a bit more experience at this time in order to try and turn it around. I've also seen them linked with John Hughes and David Moyes in the recent past as well as Lambert so I'm not overly worried!
