Converting 20 minute comedy shows to my mp3/mp4/xvid thing has been

They're just enough time to play whilst waiting/travelling etc

Best time was when a mate was really late to meet me, and was going to be an hour, so I watch an episode of The Wire in the middle of town and made them sit with me another 5 minutes whilst it finished (whilst they were a bit bemused I wasn't pissed off with them)
