He struggled to make any great impact (along with just about everybody else)

He made some good runs, and looked lively whilst he was on, but was dwarfed by their man-mountain number 20. Big ol' unit he was!! The pitch was so boggy the ball had to be played in the air, and he was never going to win THAT battle all night.

Our passing was very poor, we gave the ball away loads. We struggled to keep possession as quite often they'd have 2 or 3 players on our man with the ball. They were very physical, without being dirty... how we scraped the win god only knows because i was convinced we wouldn't score this evening... right up to the moment we did. I then turned to the bloke behind me and said "you watch, we'll go and win this now."
