Money spent on player transfers...

Since we gained promotion we have spent around ?6m on transfer fees (with half going on one player) and raised ?2.5m from player sales.

I personally don't think that we have spent enough in order to secure Premiership survival/promotion. I don't want us to become financially unstable or anything, but football is about what happens on the pitch, and at the moment we just don't have the numbers or quality to be where we should be.

West Brom have shown that it can be done (although with a slice of luck) on a similar budget and were succesful with an equally dour manager in Megson. When we needed to buy a little bit of quality, we fell woefully short, and ultimately I feel it will cost Worthy his job.
