at least we didn't have a gut-wrenching late equaliser

like palace. easier this - we're just not good enough.

though if the ref had given the two clear penalties and allowed ashton's perfectly good goal then it might have been a different story.

but basically the reason we've gone down is because we haven't won away from home all season and we've conceded more than two goals a game - no complaints.

and at least we'll get to see a few more wins next season. and we'll either

a) be in the same division as the scum or
b) laugh at their defence, which is worse than ours, getting thrashed week in week out.

ps. i have my scum filter on...at times like these it's invaluable!
