Firstly, we are now being run by proper businessmen. If they say, and the club's auditors say, that we can continue until 31st May 2010 then I believe them. We have all seen the terrifying mess left behind by Doncaster and we may well succumb to it sometime. Just not right now.
Secondly, as I understand it administration is generally triggered by cashflow problems. As far as I can see we should are not having unexpected cashflow problems. The bad weather has not interrupted the flow of money from matchdays. Moreover, sometime before 31st May 2010 we are due to receive ?4.5 million from other clubs. The recent injection of money into West Ham surely removes any doubts over whether we will get paid.
Thirdly, Doncaster always claimed to be punctilious about paying all taxes, unless he was lying and managing to pull the wool over the club's internal and external auditors I do not think we have a problem with tax. And clearly, in this instance, we can be sure that Doncaster wasn't lying.
If we go into admin I guess it will be once we fail to achieve promotion.
