Holt's sending off was overdue

Not because he neccessarily deserved it yesterday but because (like Beckham or Scholes) he springs into virtually every tackle and many referees cannot differentiate between a well timed tackle and a lunge.
Lets just hope that we can limp through the next few games without him and be grateful that it won't keep him out of the Leeds or Charlton games.
I also wonder if it makers him less attractive as a signing to clubs in dire need of results, given that he wont be match fit for another month now?
