Imagine they did not have a 10 point reduction.
They reach 76 points and make the playoffs
Then take away 10 points so they finish just outside the playoffs (66 points)
Obviously the average number of points needed to make the playoffs will go down.
The fact that 10 points are being removed from the whole division has an effect.
I think Southampton are improving and will be close to the playoffs.
They have added some quality (semi excluded!)
Part of me hopes they just miss out just in case we dont make the top 2
Give me Colchester, Swindon and Huddersfield any day.
