but the 'aren't they great, these real fans' is just as patronising in its way. And to be honest I've encountered as many unpleasant fans in this division as in any other, perhaps exacerbated by us now being the charlie big potatoes. That's not because we've looked down on the clubs, but because we are a bigger club than any other in the division bar Leeds, so it's not a surprising attitude. And when you see debacles like the stewarding at Wycombe I'm afraid I don't have a lot of warmth towards these lovely real clubs.
