I think he was being ironic

Must say I have some sympathy with pants's's view from last night - I'm not really into all this patronising stuff about other league 1 clubs.

Brentford, Colchester, Walsall fans etc - these are *proper* football fans. I'd rather talk to them about footie than the your average Arsenal fan (I went to the Emirates a few weeks ago - half of them seemed mroe interested in taking photos of the stadium than thbe actual match).
