The weather didn't help them but ....

The Brentford supporters should be asking the own ticket office about why they have so few tickets. As far I know it works like this

We say how many do you want
They say 1500.
We say ok, that?s fine but as we can sell all the ones you do not take to the home fans you must pay for them all.
They say, ooh er, sounds pricy, we?ll have 1100
We say ok, but your final number must be told to us a a good time before the game so we can sell the rest.
They say ok, make it 900
The game is on after snow and a rearrangement and suddenly they want 1500 and we say unlucky we?ve sold them to home fans like you said we could.
Their fans squeal and shout, and post messages on bulletin boards complaining.

The same thing happened a couple of years ago when we played Southampton last home game of the season. When Southampton asked for their allocation, we gave then 1200 as they asked for 1200 and wouldn?t take the risk on any more. In between times, Southampton won six on the spin and a win at FCR would have all but guaranteed them a play-off spot. All of a sudden, when there was something on the game, they said where?s our 2200 tickets. Cue uproar until they realised that Southampton had returned half the allocation.
