Things I learnt about Norfolk over the last 2 days or so...

1. Being the only staying guests - or living souls even - in a windmill is a weird experience

2. Cley Smokehouse does really good fish

3. Holkham deer communicate with one another by nosing each other up the bum

4. According to the landlady at the Kings Arms in Blakeney the 2nd home ownership split is something like 80/20 in favour of the out of towners now...it was like a ghost town when we drove back to the windmill on Tues evening - shame on the 2nd home owners

5. And talking of London money that Burnham Market is right nice - hadn't been before - and yes, people seem to live there: rich people

6. Parts of North Norfolk still haven't sorted out the whole Look North regional bollocks on TV - I want Look f**king East you w**kers?for a delicious moment I thought I could watch the local footy prog on Mon night but no such luck

7. And on a flying visit to Norwich on our way back to London I was pleased to see that Pilch's hasn't bought the bullet as I had previously thought...however, there were no hexagonal green and yellow footballs of my youth (each panel fell off on impact off one's boot) and even worse the NCFC kits tehy stocked were displayed bottom right which meant all you could initially see were all the usual Premier w**kers first...I realise they've got to pay the bills and be competitive but really, NCFC should be more prominent than Aston f**king Villa

Had a look at the White Horse in Brancaster Smalls but didn't go in as we were too full from uber Cley Windmill brekkie - looked dead nice though...
