My final word on Gunny.

I think of it as a bit like the whole Michael Jackson thing.

Occasionally you hear one if his old songs and find yourself humming along, maybe a particular song will remind you of a particular event or time on your life which you remember fondly and think "he used to give me so much enjoyment". You also think to your self, "I can't deny the guy had talent."

But there is now this horrid taint on his reputation that just affects your memories and opinions of him which you can't overcome and will never go away.

Obviously not comparing being inept at football management with being an alleged child rapist. But you see what I mean.

Or not.

Or Gary Glitter. Apart form the fact his music was s**t in the first place.
