Newcastle will have noted his form and ability, but would they play him back in the Prem next season? They have Tim Krul, who is a decent keeper as well, but would they even play him at that level? Would think it would be Harper and Krul as No.1 and 2...
But I don't think they will want to sell either. If they did, same problem-whoever bought him, according to who has been looking-Arsenal, Tottenham-wouldn't play him either.
If we go up, and still a big if, maybe we could get him for a second seasons loan? Not beyond the realms of possibility. Problem is, how long do you hold Rudd back-or do we use the same tactic with him as Newcastle with Forster, and loan him out as well?
