Hype hype hype, it was all about him for weeks before the game, he was doing this, that, the other, soundbites and media quotes everywhere, Cowling says this, does that, wears, literally, the T Shirt....

Like I said, I bet Bothroyd and the Colchester players were really thankful and supportive for all the attention he created. They have done well and got a top 6 place in spite of him, not down to him in anyway, shape, or form-and as for his shape and form, well, all being well, we'll never have to worry about it again.

As for the compensation, am tempted to recall King George's quote to Blackadder, "...pay the man Edmund, and damn his impertinence..."
