Doesn't Gunn's pay-off seem small to you?

And I'm basing this on what the Wrather told me. He was right about us wanting and talking to Boothroyd: why wouldn't he be right about not being able to afford him? The ST point, incidentally, also goes a long way towards explaining why the board sold Gunn's appointment in the way they did: they had to balance trying to get the right man in (and failing completely) with ensuring ST uptake remained high, otherwise we could've ended up in an even bigger mess.
