i was VERY surprised when Eng decided to bat since they were preparing a wicket for a

result. They couldn't prepare a flat hard batting track as that would be more likely to result in a draw. They had to prepare a hard track with green areas on a length to bowl at, not seen the pitch as at work, but seems strange to choose to bat if it was prepared in that way!
