Messi, Xavi, Iniesta - home-grown (although obviously they nabbed Messi as a kid).

Also, in Spain the biggest clubs negotiate their own TV deals. So there's even less revenue sharing than here.

Of course, the other point is that Manyoo's debt didn't arise because they have an unsustainable business model - it arose because the Glazers over-borrowed to buy the club from the shareholders. At what turned out to be a bad time...
