To me it's not a particularly big deal that we haven't signed anyone today

they would have had to have been pretty damn special to excite me (& that doesn't include Bentley). We've got some decent players although little in depth and ought to still be able to make the play-offs at least - but I'm very, very doubtful that Worthy's the man to manage them anyway.

I think the board are backing Worthy because it'd cost a substantial wedge to sack him; but I expect him to do the decent thing unless things improve dramatically over the next month. Sadly, I don't see that happening & it looks like we've a pretty depressing few months ahead of us ...
