It's called a Plectrum

And today?s very uninteresting fact is that I have a plectrum in my wallet. It belonged to Burke Shelley, the lead singer and bass player in Budgie. They were supporting Ozzy at Wembley Arera, and at the end of the show he threw his plectrum into the crowd. I was in the front row and I caught it.

This was sometime in the early eighties, a very long time ago.
