FAO: Anyone Snowboarders, advice required...

I am looking to buy the wife a cheapish set of boots, bindings and board to learn on. I know nothing about snowboarding but we are going for NYE 2010 so need to kit up and thought I'd get her the kit for her birthday.

Is the above package anygood for learning on, or is it cheap crap?
