Short term perhaps but it would be a shame, since it appears that

one of the strengths this season has been forcing the opponent to match our formation, and then ripping them apart (at times). 4-4-2 might just be an easier and more familiar prospect for League One opponents.

Not that I really know cos I haven't been to a game this season, but at least that's what I hear and read.
