The fact stands that it was CORRECT to spend the money to get promoted.

Many people argue that we did not spend ENOUGH in the prem or spent too late on Dean Ashton when we could have stayed up with him from the start of the season or with more quality.

We have made a lot of mistakes post prem but the gamble in 2003/4 was spot on.
