Clubs without a sugardaddy have a much smaller margin for error than in the past. They have to get most of their decisions right, especially in the two years after coming down from the Prem. We didn't, and the waste of those two years was critical in what ultimately happened.

As I've said before, I'd feel far less angry about those many mistakes if the managers they appointed had had a track record of success; but they didn't. They made those mistakes because they simply didn't understand the game. Thankfully, our new CEO appears to in a way they never did.
