I was reading a blog on the BBC football website about him at Carlisle a few weeks ago and I seem to remember some comments along the lines of that he'd leave Carlisle if he received a "better" offer etc. Okay, fair enough, if he wants to better himself, but wouldn't that be harsh on Carlisle? That's footballers for you these days.
Part of me gets the impression that Pericard still has a high opinion of himself, despite what he has done to his own career. I don't think Paul Lambert would be a fan of his personality.
If we did sign him, he'd be back up at best. I'd rather see Grant Holt and Chris Martin starting ahead of him.
In summary,a potentially disruptive individual worth avoiding.
