Recharge is very quick. Actually I think the battery life is surprisingly good IF

you only use it as a phone or iPod.

Use it as both and it goes a little quicker, understandably, but the reason the battery goes so quickly on mine (charge probably every 1.5 days) is cos I am sodding about on it much more than I would other phones (because of its usability).
