I read it more as an anti-progress rant...

And she focuses on the stupid apps.

The apps I use are basically communications / social networking, weather, email, calendar, news, iPod (mostly for R4 podcasts), browser and one or two free games or fun apps (e.g. Lightsabre) which get removed after a week. I do find the spirit level handy though !

Tried Stanza (e-book reader) but haven't really got into that yet as the screen is too small really. Would get TomTom too if I could jailbreak and get it for free.

So basically almost the same stuff I used on my Windows mobile PDAs. Just with a far superior interface.
