as a rule, I wouldn't normally watch a home fixture if it wasn't going to be close. It's the mick mccarthy syndrome, being there's little point putting up a fight, the result will find it's way to the home team somehow

I watched it tonight cos Villarreal are back to playing how they could about 3 years ago, and never gave up fighting
