have to say the Gavin and Stacey 3rd series was very dissapointing....

and frankly pointless. I hate sitcoms that only make further episodes by getting a big payout. Take The Royal Family for instance, the programme has well run its course for some time now, but the BBC know that they are guaranteed a xmas day audience of 8+million viewers and offer the producers big money. Only Fools and Horses also come into that category.

Gav n Stacey never planned to have a 3rd series and this came across quite clear with rushed storylines and predictable gags with a very poor last episode. Should have ended after the xmas special.
