the bit in front of the away stand looked fairly bad

one of the stewards stamped his foot on it and you could hear it was frozen from the noise it made - and presumably it was worse elsewhere on the pitch

Either way, whatever the pitch was like, its the timing that is the problem. If there's a chance it won't go ahead they should make the final decision in the morning.
