Cambridge hates cars

not that the Park 'n' Ride is particularly cheap either, the parking's free but i think it costs ?2:50 per person return.

while that's not bad compared to the costs of parking in Cambridge, with 2 or 3 people in a car it wouldn't be much cheaper than you've paid for parking in a city centre, right next to the shops and without having to put up with other people on a bus. For those that live more-or-less halfway between Cambridge and Peterborough, or Cambridge and Norwich or Cambridge and another big centre for shopping it's not difficult to come to a decision that you're better off not coming to Cambridge
