Techie wrathers, help needed

I'm searching for a Word doc. I 'know' it the other day before closing it, but it's not where I saved it and it's not in the doc list on Word either.
a search through all drives doesn't find it either. I presume there must be a copy in the temp files, but where the hell are they?
