Over a low heat, soften some grated celeriac with a knob of butter, stir in cream, wholegrain mustard, worcestershirefordtonshire sauce and a splash of beer or wine or whatever, then allow to cool.
Combine the mixture with some grated cheddar and spread over some sliced white bread and top with freshly sliced dried ham. Stick in the oven (you're going to bake this, not grill it) until it's all golden crispy like.
Serve with a Guinness and a few walnuts. Yum.
