Techie help (Ben?)...

It's a very minor thing, more of an irritation.

Can anyone explain why my new laptop (about a month old) now seems to take 2 or 3 minutes to shut down each time I turn it off.

I dont think I've added anything outrageous to it since I bought it. ZoneAlarm, Kaspersky, MSN, Ntl Broadband, Football Manager 2005. O I've also downloaded a bt of porn but I dont think this should have caused much problems should it? Like I say I've got Kaspersky and ZoneAlarm so I don't think anything dodgy has got on it.
