was a strange pattern to the game last night.......

IMHO we were shockling s**t for the first 20 minutes... couldnt hold the ball and started to hoof it early... pape diop put it down to hpw well southampton utter bastards closed us down and battled harder than us to win the ball back. Then second period of the first half southampton utter bastards seemed to tire, even after going 1-0 up - we seemed to put our foot on the ball and we played some lovely stuff, one touch sexy gullit style fussball.

second half it was one way - how we f**king even drew i'll never know - - best performance since leeds away! when lambert took wes off and brought cody on we lost shape and for the last 15 minutes we looked nervous in defence with no one really in midfield to play it too. Still, as pape diop pointed out they scored after we had the ball in their area for 10 minutes and we looked comfortable. conclusion - southampton are utter bastards.
