It would be interesting to see if Johnson could make the step up to managing in the second tier of English football after so much lower league success.
Interestingly, he has managed at international level, having had a spell in charge of the Latvian national team. That was in the days before they pottered around getting in the way of the likes of Germany and the Czechs at Euro 2004, and so it is still safe to say that Johnson is perhaps a little unproven at the very highest level. However, his Yeovil Town outfit play good, neat, attractive football of the kind that has served many a team well in the scramble to get out of the Championship and into the Premiership rich-set.
