Yes, he made some good loan signings.

Give me some money I bet I could make some good signings too (along with many bad ones)

If you compre his record of signings with Roeder and even Gunn then its far inferior IMHO.

Considering Roeder spent far less on permanent transfers than he sold.

And Gunn spent virtually nothing outside of Holt (who the fans bought)
