Worthington never showed and talent for plucking out talent from the lower divisions or developing youth talent.

If Shef Wed dont have much money then its vital that you have a manager who can find these players from the lower ranks who can do a job in the champs.

Ironically IMHO Gunn did a far better job of spotting lower league talent than Worthington ever did.

I am certainly not suggesting Gunn as manager but it just shows ho poor Worthy was.

I also think in our promotion year Worthy was very lucky in some aspects.
We had virtually no injuries and the right loan players happen to come along at the right time.
