Question for anyone at the game

Did Russell justify his selection ahead of Hughes today?

Didn't make much sense to me, but I'm guessing it had something to do with Lambert seeing Hughes as more of an offensive midfielder.

The whole team played well so it's difficult to know if Hughes would have been better.
