Appointing Gunn again at the end of the season was thoroughly barking. Appointing him again without a chairman and chief executive was thoroughly barking. Sacking a man on the back of one result was thoroughly barking. Sacking a man after his team won 4-0 was thoroughly barking.

But I have no doubt that Lambert is a far superior man manager than Gunn and we wouldn't be in 3rd now without him.
