I'd say we aimed to start better than we did, yes...

...although I'd say recently we've been at least on target. Have to catch up, but if we make it through the playoffs then we've attained our goal.

I think points targets are more about when you are expecting a relegation fight or trying to scrape into playoffs. Then you can look at the statistical likelihood of the points haul you will need. If you want promotion full stop, then I guess it's a bit different. You'd love to run away with the division but you don't really mind if you finish 2nd, or even 6th if you win the playoffs.
