We'll be seeded, think Neth and Portugal likely to miss out. Its a bizarre system really

Should be on how you qualified, but then there are more groups than there are seeded spots.
Also some of the non European groups are ridiculously easy, so that won't work.

Past performance is a good way to go I think, but they should then put more emphasis on qualification form, when comparing teams from the same federation.
I.E us and Netherlands should be seeded, France and Portugal should not after needing to go through the play-offs.

Group of Death for us would be Netherlands, Ivory Coast and the USA probably.

Did anyone else know that the Aussies opted out of the Oceanic group because they wanted a TOUGHER qualifying group?
