If I were Delia, I'd be on the phone to MO'N to see how he's doing and whether he might be interested at some point in the future.

Obviously we don't know how his personal situation is, but he said on leaving he felt he hadn't finished the job here and wouldn't be against coming back to do so, and it doesn't hurt to ask, right?

I don't think it's likely, but if the board are looking to give Worthy a chance to dig himself out of the hole he's in, lining a potential replacement up for January isn't a stretch of the imagination.
