Yeah, it's appauling. Accross all schools in the 70's it was ok to beat children

as a form teaching them a lesson

Racism was a massive issue not dealt with in society, so it was acceptable to use it political pamphlets and television (rigsby, alf garnet), and is stil excused as "that generation"

I appreciate your experiences and why you've posted them, but they're a bit more systemic religion in my opinion
