Missed the game last night, and have only just got in this morning ....

Can someone fill me in on what it was really like?

I spoke to a friend who was at the game, he told me that it was the same team as Saturday, is this true? If that's the case then that really is a poor show. The team were poor on Saturday (passed it a bit better, but still poor) and could not get a result against a poor side. To then pick the same team 2 days later shows real tactical ineptitude in my opinion, if he did.

To me the whole thing is starting to seem a bit like the Keegan saga for England, where in fairness to him at least he had the balls to quit. He came out publicly and said it was because he just didn't think he had the tactical nouse and the ability to get any more out of a good group of players, i think. Sounds a lot like the situation we're in now.

I backed Worthy all of last season, and wanted him to do well this season, after all he has been a great manager for us. However with the start we've had this season I think the board need to do something now. I feel Worthy may well have lost the dressing room, players like Hucks and Safri, Fleming and Drury can't be happy with what they're seeing, and he is certainly now losing the supporters.

I personally thought his time was up even before the Leeds game, and I mentioned that to a couple of friends and family, most of them felt I was being a little harsh. I've spoken to them after these last 2 results and without exception all now agree with me.

I know there will be some here who don't agree, and fair play it's a game of opinions and we hopefully will all carry on showing the team support regardless, but in my opinion something needs to be done now. We are not to good a team to totally balls the season up. I don't think Delia would ever want to let Worthy go, but I don't think Doncaster and Munby are such soft touches and I hope they force a decision or Worthy falls on his own sword and soon.

On the Ball City!
