Well, that's a possibility.

However, the evidence from which you can base a critisism is there for all to see as far as team selection/use of substitutes is concerned. It's out there on the pitch for 90 minutes (or, for substitutes, six and a half).

But for sales, purchases and loans of players we only get to see the deals that go though - we don't get to see all of the approaches that are made and received.

I still maintain that critisism of the manager does not imply critisism of the board.

I may be critical of the manager (while not wholy advocating a change right now) but I think the board have been fantastic. I spoke to one after the Southapton game last season as said as much.
