if you're looking at "genuine (but misguided) hope"...

the Iwan's at Cardiff probably ought to figure, even if the hope only lasted the less than 60 seconds it took for Sutch to trot onto the field and it to to become apparent that our tactics for the next 29 minutes were to put everyone in our own penalty area and kick any ball that we were fortunate enough to be able to get near in the general direction of the corner flags at their end.
