To be fair to him

He normally attempts to be fairly on the fence once the subject starts but occasionally couldn't help himself, which is fine since everyone is entitled to their views. Considering the gusto with which we always dive at every subject with no respect whatsoever (the best thing about the Wrath ;-)), he's done pretty well at not reacting too strongly sometimes.

I know I am guilty of being a bit militant on the subject the other way around.
