you look at what C4 put out and its real quality stuff, whether that's sketches or shows. ITV has done nothing since Rising Damp.

Problem is, audiences for comedy shows are not good - Peep Show only got just under 2 million.

These days it's all about "quality" TV - I'm a celeb, X factor, Strictly.

That's celeb culture for you...
