I had to have mine checked when I sold. Was rather embarresed to discover that

one of the (old skool) fuses had 15A wire in a 5A circuit. I would never have done that and my dad (who owned the house before me) also as he was a navy trained techie. Whan I investigated, I found that the ceramic carrier, despit being in a 5A circuit, had "15A" embossed onit. Presumable some thick w**ker, when it was built, either didn't know or didn't care about the difference
